I have found that Online classes have been a great way to find some peace, steadiness and connection with community amidst so much upheaval over the last few months. I will continue to keep teaching these sessions as long as they are useful to people.
Online classes are different to attending physically in the same space. This may be obvious but I think it's worth reminding ourselves in these strange times. Although you will be able to see and hear me, I am unlikely to be able to see you properly at all times, therefore I urge you to be even more mindful when you practice about what is right for YOUR body AND mind. This can be difficult when we first start, but if we really listen to our bodies, trust our intuition, and be compassionate towards ourselves when we practice - All will be well.
Once you have booked your preferred class I will send you a Zoom meeting invite for you to register and then follow up with the meeting code. You will need to download the Zoom app in order to participate. If you are brand new to yoga, you will need comfy clothes and a yoga mat. I would also suggest some handy props such as a couple of cushions, a scarf or tie (in lieu of a yoga strap) and a nice blanket for relaxation at the end. Try and find a nice quiet space in your house where you won't be disturbed. You do not have to have your video on, that is a personal choice and I will be available for questions at the end of most sessions. If you have any questions at all please get in touch.
