About me  

I am a green fingered, wild hearted Yogi, a student of many things, especially to my daughter who teaches me so much! I am a nature lover and landscape architect, weaving both my passions together into one beautiful tapestry. I have been an avid yoga practitioner since 2006 and have been teaching yoga regularly in London since 2015. I moved back to the Midlands in 2019 and am in the process of setting up a wee green studio out of my house in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield.

As of December 2021 I am back in action as a Landscape Architect four days a week and so I am cutting back on my teaching schedule and dedicating more time to my family and my own practice as we navigate this new emerging post pandemic world. I hope to stay connected to local friends and aspiring yogis with weekly term time in-person yoga courses and also to my online friends with a one off monthly offering. As we move into the warmer days I hope to hold some workshops and day retreats as time allows. 

My Yoga.

With deep respect for the South Asian roots of yoga I set out here my immediate lineage and teachers to whom I am ever grateful and to their teachers who have all carried these teachings forward with integrity.

I have trained with Anusara™ and Rasa yoga teachers. I completed my 200hr Anusara trainings in 2013 with Bridget Woods Kramer in London and Katie Lane in New Zealand and I completed my 200hr Rasa training in 2019 with Tanja Mickwitz.

I teach Yoga that focuses on slowing down, paying attention and considering and exploring our unique architecture (body) and engineering (breath, energetics). 

My classes are often different and include meditation and breath work. Classes have clear alignment instructions and are paced slowly to encourage a more mindful approach to movement.

I believe yoga is a process of exploration, cultivation and unfolding. Just as we cultivate our gardens to grow, blossom and dissolve through the seasons we nurture our own bodies through their cycles. When we observe closely and work WITH nature, with nourishment, care and space to unfold, each plant and person reveals their own natural beauty.
